timestamp_photo

timestamp_photo takes a number of images (or other files) and renames them based on their EXIF timestamps. If a file does not contain EXIF data, then its modified time is used.

Command Line Usage

timestamp_photo [-s STN] [-d DIRECTORY] [-v] file1 [file2 ... fileN]

Arguments

-s STN

Set the file prefix to STN. If none is given then it is inferred from the current directory like a station code.

-d DIRECTORY

Move all files to the given directory (even if they are not renamed).

-v

Print verbose output as files are renamed.

file1 ... fileN

The list of files to rename.

Example Usage

timestamp_photo -s AMY picture.jpg
