comments.conf
This file defines the behavior of data.comments.modify. Only a global version exists in $DB/etc/comments.conf.
Format
Lines beginning with '#' are treated as comments. The format consists of a CSV separated list of key and optional value pairs. Keys are case insensitive.
The valid keys are listed below.
DisableOverlap
Add the given key as a type of comment for which no overlap is allowed. Non-overlapping comment types cause fragmentation (or complete coverage) in the event of an overlap. That is a short comment inserted into the middle of a larger one with a type field set as non-overlapping will result in three comments: the start of the larger one, the new smaller one, and the end of the larger one. In this example the start and end of the large comment will differ from their original form only in their boundary times, not the data they contain.
